- Founded in 1964, L’Arche creates and runs communities where adults with and without intellectual disabilities live and work together in France and around the world.
Daily life there is shared by people of different backgrounds, cultures, abilities, and ages. Everyone contributes to shared tasks according to their abilities. People with disabilities thus find their place by being accepted for who they are and supported in their talents.
