Our CSR commitments: for a responsible Patrimonia Lyon Convention

Patrimonia s'engage RSE

A Sustainable Development Strategy at the Heart of Patrimonia

Infopro Digital is deeply committed to a CSR approach.
We strive to promote responsible practices, respect the environment, and contribute positively to society.
Our trade shows and events are part of this continuous improvement approach, which translates into 4 concrete commitments to contribute to a sustainable, ethical and inclusive future.

Concrete commitments for a more responsible event

1. Reducing the Environmental Impact of the Convention in Lyon

We are aware of our environmental footprint and are committed to reducing it. Here are the actions we are taking.

The facilities

  • Reuse of the furniture and partitions from the stands we equipped and the common areas of the trade fair
  • Choice of materials used: we prioritize recycled, recyclable, eco-designed materials, certified by FSC or PEFC
  • Recycled/recyclable cardboard panels are used for signage.
  • Carpet reduction
  • Recycled carpeting will be used after the event on all pre-equipped and packaged stands.
  • LED lighting for all stands equipped by us and the common areas of the exhibition, to reduce electricity consumption
  • Exhibitors can book a packaged stand: LED lighting, recycled carpeting, reusable and recycled wooden partitions, optimized transport (multiple stands per truck), and regional assembly and dismantling staff.
Waste management, sorting and recycling

  • Each year, we strive to reduce our waste.

Selective sorting is implemented during setup and dismantling, and throughout the event, using recycling bins.
  • Waste disposal in skips is offered for stands that do not have the possibility to sort their own waste.
  • Valorization of all sorted waste, material recovery by associations and carpet recycling: collection of bio-waste, recyclable waste, paper/cardboard, glass, non-recyclable waste, scrap metal, bulky waste
  • Optimizing the quantities of partner magazines distributed at the trade show and our documents
  • Carpet recycling (2085m² recycled in 2023)
Communication media, marketing

  • Prioritizing digital communication: before and during the trade show
  • Digitalization of visitor itineraries
  • Collecting badges and lanyards upon exiting the Convention NEW
  • The Convention catalogue was printed on PEFC paper, without varnish and with hot-melt glue, making it 100% recyclable.
  • The Convention visitor guide is printed on PEFC paper, using organic varnish and vegetable inks (100% carbon neutral certified printing).
  • Patrimonia trophies are made from 100% recycled plexiglass and PEFC and FSC certified French wood.
  • We provide on our website a list of locally sourced or solidarity-based restaurants, eco-friendly accommodations and sustainable mobility options available in the city of Lyon.NEW
  • For email campaigns, we use services that minimize the distance between image hosting and download location. The data centers we use, based in Europe and carbon neutral, aim to use 100% renewable energy by 2025 and to replenish more water than they consume by 2030.
  • Limitation of printed materials and communication materials distributed during the Convention
Restoration

We select catering providers who are committed to ongoing sustainable development initiatives: Cocktail lunch caterer:
  • Our catering partner uses seasonal and regional products, sorts and recycles its waste, and contributes to the fight against exclusion and discrimination of people with disabilities by working with the Louis Jaffrin Workshops in Mornant, ADAPEI du Rhône, and the ESAT Anne Marie Bedin in Belleville sur Saône, for all aspects of packaging.
Transportation

  • Raising awareness among our visitors and exhibitors about the use of public transport or soft mobility solutions.
  • Reduction in the number of semi-trailers through the integration of a "transport management" criterion in the selection of service providers and the optimization of transport by our subcontractors.

2. Raising CSR Awareness Among Wealth Management Experts

  • Creation of a "Responsible Exhibitor Guide" and integration of good environmental practices into the technical file (materials, transport, sorting, lighting, etc.)
  • Code of good practices for visitors to our website NEW

3. Commitment to Inclusion and Societal Progress

  • Food donations are distributed by an association at the end of each day (320kg collected in 2023 for the benefit of Les Amis de Tous)
  • Partnership with wealth management schools to allow students to visit the Convention free of charge and discover their future professional environment, thus facilitating their integration upon graduation.
  • Within the organizing team, application of the Infopro Digital group's commitment policy for gender parity, diversity and inclusion, and skills development.

4. Our Process for Continuous and Sustainable Improvement

CSR is a continuous improvement process in which our Group is involved. Infopro Digital has been ISO 14001 certified since 2015. In order to offer increasingly responsible trade shows and create a virtuous ecosystem with our stakeholders, we regularly assess our CSR practices and performance to implement corrective actions and progress towards our objectives.
